I am a grounded, pragmatic person who offers practical tools to address life’s challenges.  My work with you will be based on my more than 30 years of experience as a psychologist, on the research that informs me of the best ways to address issues, and on my life experience as a husband and father of more than four decades.

One of my favorite places on earth is Big Bend National Park in far away west Texas. You'll see a lot of imagery of the desert and Big Bend on my site. 

I liken the rugged, isolation of the desert to various aspects of the human condition. There can be beauty in the most unexpected of places, including in our own struggles to reconnect with ourselves.
